Yes, really. We moved fairly recently and as such were late registering to vote. Our recently arrived letters confirming our addition to the electoral register are safe and sound in the kitchen cabinet, but we've had no polling cards delivered. I know we can still vote regardless, but the question is where?
Local press list all available polling stations and there are two or three in our immediate area. Can we turn up at any, or do we have a specified station? My Google fu has failed me, so I'm wondering if anyone has any links/advice?
If all fails I'll just ring the council's elections officer tomorrow and ask them, but it'd be handy to know earlier. Yes, I'm a dufus but there's not much I could have done to avoid it. At least I'm bothering to vote.
