Finding Windows key

Anyone here have or had W8.1 Pro with Media Centre and had to use something to reveal their product key?

I've used Nirsoft Prodkey but it gives me a different answer to using the VB script that reveals an answer from the registry.

How can one tell whether the key they have is for W8.x Pro or whether it's the Media Centre add on key?

I used Nirsoft back on 8.1 and it had a separate listing for the media centre add-on which used the same key.

Just lists it here as one entry 'Windows 8.1 Pro with Media Center' so I wonder if the Media Centre addon key then became the new key or whether that is the W8 Pro upgrade key and the Media Centre key is not shown?
