Fine mesh...

Hi all,

I'm trying to find some fine mesh to represent the radiator grill on one of my models.
Someone has told me to use the anti static mesh screens that used to be used with CRT monitors. Ideally I'd like to pick one up for next to nothing since I'll be cutting it up anyway (anyone got a broken one lying around? ).
Worse case scenario I'll buy a new one but are they still made from mesh these days or glass/acrylic?

That's the sort of thing I'm talking about, that grill is probably slightly smaller than a 5p piece so if you can think of an alternative let me know!

Try searching on google for gauzes. They might do, depending on size.

I've just ordered some pipe screens from fleabay and I'll have a look around for tea strainers and other gauze.
