Thread titles describes my dilemma perfectly

The Inno3D GTX 980 is dog ugly compared to the MSI,but gives better performance overall. Really cant decide, if it was you what would you choose?

Go with the MSI, if you prefer the look of that card it's worth a little extra to be happy with something you'll be using for a while. It will likely retain a higher re-sale value as well.

I'd go for the 970. So very close in performance to the 980, but costs considerably less.

If it comes with a ******* tree then the msi card is a no brainer.

Also I have no doubts that msi's card will perform just as well as the inno3d and probably be quieter.
