Hey Everyone,

So very close to ordering this now, just a final final sanity check and questions:

I've read good things about the Gigabyte 1024 MB card, would anyone suggest otherwise?

Is the RAM I've put down any good? I was going to go for the Corsair dominator but fear the Noctua CPU Cooler may get in the way.

Would the Sharkoon Fans be OK to replace the Noctua fans?

Any help would be great, so many people have helped me get this far, just the last touches :-)

Yes, Overclockers use them in there overclocked bundles and one of the system builders has mentioned he preferred to use these.
 
Looks like those are the winners, Ill go for the XMS3 purely because I have a feeling the dominator RAM will have issues of fitting.

Anyone know if the fans on the noctua cpu cooler can be swapped for the sharkoons, without damaging it??
 
Just a quick google flags up some concern with XMS3 ram, its not on the list of supported RAM for the gigabyte M/B, main concern is its PC3-12800C9 not just plain old PC3-12800 (neither of which mean anything to me, so I can't say if there is even a difference)

If you guys say it'll fit and work I'll trust ya.
 
Change the PSU to a Antec True Power New 550/650 or 750. You don't need an 850W PSU as that rig could only be cosume about 350-400w full load, even if you SLI those GTX 460's you'll be consuming <550w.

Bear in mind the performance of the TPN and HX750W is similar, but the TPN is cheaper, however, the TPN is has far better peformance than the older Corsair TX's.
 
I've always wanted a Lian Li and I want a huge case so it will last me for years regardless of what I do with it (my current case is a sunbeam sumarai case - god awful looking thing :-P) plus: the case is a graduation present from the parents, the rest Im buying
