Hi I have just ordered a usb fingerprint reader for "windows hello" and I was wondering if theres any decent firefox software/extension I can use with it for web pages as it would be good not always being logged in to facebook so to make it more secure.. Also no more password entering for ebay would be good?

If you use Bitwarden as your password manager it's possible, you will need both the desktop app and the Firefox extension installed, and there will be an option to use biometrics. This only however unlocks Bitwarden but once you unlock it, it can autofill the username/password fields for you.

Well I have tried a few password managers and there all pigging useless,, Bitwarden I couldn't figger out how to enter the username and passwords with the fingerprint.. Last1pass worked but you had to click on the extension for it to enter the info. Roboform only does the master password with the fingerprint.

You would have thought people could make some very simple software so the fingerprint just enters the info when your in the username or password box on a web site...... But no it has to be loads more complicated and cost a small fortune aswel.... The windows log in works very nicely though, as you only need to tap the reader for it to recognise the fingerprint, Im very impressed and it was only a cheap £20 one:p

I use 1password with a fingerprint reader and it works fine for me and I'm blind so don't know why you find it so difficult, I've used Bitwarden and Roboform too without any issues. Also can you please learn to use full stops in your posts as I am finding it really hard to FIGGER them out.

Anyways I am off to do a FIGGER OF ATE:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:
