Hi Guys,

Just wanna run by my final check to make sure its all ok!

Antec P190 Gaming Case
Asus Striker II Extreme nForce 790i Ultra SLi
Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600
OCZ 2GB DDR3 PC3-10666C9 1333MHz Gold (x2)
Samsung SpinPoint F1 1TB (x2, RAID1)
Leadtek GeForce GTX 280 1024MB GDDR3 (SLI at a later stage)
LG GGW-H20L Blu-Ray Rewriter
Vista Ultimate 64Bit

And some other bits and bobs:
Samsung SM-2493HM 24" (x2)
Zalman Reserator XT Hybrid (For Chipset and CPU) OR Zalman Reserator1 v2 (really can't decide)
Creative Inspire 7.1 T7900 Speakers

I hope that should be ok, but just wanted to check before I ordered it all!

Let me know please :)

Well I was hoping to make it future proof for at least a few years. This will be mainly used for CAD and Design, but im sure I will have time for a few games! :)

Hence why I decided on DDR3, however I do wonder what cooler I should get...

Well after reading around, I think I will go for this setup:

Antec P190 Gaming Case
Asus Rampage Formula Intel X48
Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600
OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-8500C5 1066MHz Reaper (x2)
Samsung SpinPoint F1 1TB (x2, RAID1)
Leadtek GeForce GTX 280 1024MB GDDR3
LG GGW-H20L Blu-Ray Rewriter
Vista Ultimate 64Bit
Asus Triton 79 Amazing Heatsink

Just didn't see the point of DDR3, or SLI for my needs, would have been nice though!

Any issues?

if you're going x48 mobo, maybe get the 4870, always have the option to run crossfire later on if needed.

maybe swap the pc8500 memory for pc6400, will still get the q6600 to 3.6ghz.

Thanks for the input, Well I am trying to make a future proof for at least a few years! Hence why I chose pc8500!

As for the ATI cards I will take a look, I have only ever used NVIDIA cards and like them a lot. I really don't know whether to go for a x-fire mobo or sli. But I have heard many good things about the Rampage Formula, but maybe I would be better off with a nforce 7 mobo.

Confused as usual!
