A few months ago i got a pc speced on here. I got half the build and had to put the money i had else ware (a car) so didn't get the full build.

I've now got the money to finish of the build but im not sure if anything new has come out.

Ive got:

corsair 750d case
maximus VI hero mobo
16gb corsair vengance ddr3 red
corsair hx850 psu

i was going:

Intel Core i7-4770K 3.50GHz (Haswell)
Asus Z87 MAXIMUS VI HERO Intel Z87
Corsair Vengeance RED 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3 PC3-17100C11 2133MHz
2 x Samsung 250GB SSD 840 EVO SATA 6Gb/s Basic - (MZ-7TE250BW)
Corsair Obsidian 750D Full Tower Case
Corsair Builder Series CX 750W

budget is £1000 to finish off the pc with a plan to watercool gfx and cpu in the future, so cards which are easy to change to water would be best.

Should i stick to what ive got listed or is there better now?

Thanks

An MSI or Sapphire 290 would make sense if you want to water cool, as you won't void either company's warranty if you remove the stock cooler. OcUK have an arrangement with PowerColor to the same effect. I'm not sure which Nvidia manufacturers do this. Which GPU were you planning to get?

Good job avoiding the CX750 PSU.

Also: does the £1000 include watercooling parts?

This is what i'd get (with a vague array of WC component in there to show the price, obviously you need tubing and fittings and fans to make it work.):

YOUR BASKET
1 x VTX3D Radeon R9 290 V2 X-Edition 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card (VXR9 290 4GBD5-DHX) £319.99
1 x Intel Core i7-4770K 3.50GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail £259.99
2 x Samsung 250GB SSD 840 EVO SATA 6Gb/s Basic - (MZ-7TE250BW) £125.99 (£251.98)
1 x EK Water Blocks EK-D5 Vario X-RES 140 (incl. pump) £107.99
1 x EK Water Blocks EK-FC R9-290X - Acetal £79.99
1 x EK Water Blocks EK-Supremacy - Acetal £49.99
1 x XSPC EX360 120mm Radiator - Black £47.99
1 x XSPC EX240 120mm Radiator - Black £37.99
Total : £1,165.51 (includes shipping : £8.00).

Confused a bit,

You say you have a HX850 and are going to replace it with a CX700?

This is like two steps sides ways and 10 backwards.

No, he was going to get the CX, but got the HX instead. At least that's how I read it.

Doomed - is there any reason you've gone for the VTX3D 290 over the MSI Gaming (which is the same price at the moment)?

Yes.

Waterblock, the EK block for the 290 MSI gaming isn't out yet (if they ever release one).. As its not a reference design.

The Windforce is a ref design too.

But more expensive.

sorry, should have explained a bit better, was going with cx750 but went for hx850.

So 1 x 290 or 2 x 280's?

I was originally planing to get 2 X 280's.

£1000 does not include water cooling bits, i plan to do that in 6-7 months.

Done need keyboard, mouse or anything like that. maybe just some Corsair AF120's for the case.
