my first build 1 more question!!

big thanks to everyone that helped. all running perfect!

one small problem though. i have a akasa mirage case and i've hooked up the power/hd led connectors to the mobo and neither is working. i've just check and they are defo in the right sockets. do i have to tweak something in the bios?

its a small thing and it doesnt really bother me, but if i can get them working it would be great!

For LED headers you also need to make sure the positive and negative pin are connected correctly.

The coloured lead is + while the white led is -. If you are sure they are in the correct sockets then switch the headers around.

had them the wrong way round pos and neg. cheers m8. i noticed the other plugs for reset and power appear to be the wrong way round as well. but they work! so should i just leave them?
 
led's only work one way read. switches are literally just on/off, all you have to do is complete the circuit so it doesnt which way round you connect them:)
 
As said there is no + - difference in switches cuz they are simply there to complete a circuit, like a jumper on the mobo but only short the 2 pins when you press the button.

yea thats the best way lol i tried to tidy after its all in and it dosent work lol so now im gonna be taking it all apart to tidy and reassemble :p
