One of the machines i'm running F@H isn't updating my stats.. Unfortunately, it's a GUI version rather than the console. No choice i'm affraid.

Looking a the log, it clearly states that the WU is complete and has updated Stanford but i don't think it is.

To prove this, none of my other machines are crunching today except this one, as i knew it would finish a WU this morning, which it did but my account has not updated with credit. ???

Any ideas?

.. btw i do have two instances of F@H running on this machine.. One is console which is working fine and the other is the GUI..

Do they need seperate machine IDs?

I've noticed in the GUI log ..

[07:47:44] - Ask before connecting: No
[07:47:44] - Proxy: www-proxy:8080
[07:47:44] - Proxy password enabled
[07:47:44] - User name: Huddy (Team 10)
[07:47:44] - User ID: 60B8740215C70155
[07:47:44] - Machine ID: 1

but there is no option to change this.. or am i barking up the wrong tree..

can i change the machine ID half way through a process?

I've just tried amending the config file in the GUI directory using notepad, bu it reset the damn thing..

I'll see how it goes but i've now restarted my others machines so it will be a bit dificult to see what process is generating what results..

Thanks guys ..

if you're using one GUI and one Console client then you'll probably need to use the -local flag on at least the console (maybe even on both clients)

you've probably already done this but if not it is probably worth doing

how do i add the -local to the GUI version?
