Ok so this TV arrived earlier on this week and I must say I am very impressed with it!
A lot of people had theirs smashed on arrival due to poor packaging but mine was fine!
So onto a quick review.
Build Quality, Looks & Sound
Its pretty grim. The set weighs about as much as a shoe box and does not feel well built at all, the stand is flimsy and goes on the set to hold it vertically up with only 3 screws per side. The horizontal support is 1 screw per side. It holds it securely enough and to be honest, unless you have kids running around and people throwing things that may hit the TV, it will be fine. It helps that they are really wide feet too.
Other than that it looks smart enough with its small gloss black bezels.
The sound is atrocious though. The thing sounds like a mouse, even at 100 and there is no way I would want to watch anything with its poor sound levels at the moment. Sound bar hunt is on and hopefully will pick up something over the weekend (any recommendations?)
Picture Quality
This is where it punches far above its own weight. I am upgrading from a 10 year old LG 1080p set and it blows it away. 4k content is unreal, 1080 SkyHD looks great and there is no noticeable lag when gaming via Steam Link.
Viewing angles are brilliant with no obvious washout and although there is some backlight bleed, its nothing that would cause a problem in day to day viewing.
Features, Connectivity and Apps
I have it connected via ethernet and the connection is solid, no dropouts. Videos from Youtube load quickly with no delays and buffering and again, silky smooth visuals. I actually watched 4k nature documentaries just to make the most of it! The web browser is crap but it has built in apps for all the usual on demand services. So even without a sky subscription there is plenty of content.
Dedicated buttons on the remote for Youtube, Netflix and media makes it easy to navigate too. It also supports mirror cast / mirror link and connects to mirror devices wirelessly.
By far the best feature is the fact that it can pick up my plex server, negating the need for my Chromecast and meaning that I can use the other HDMI for steam link.
Now most of those things I have listed may be standard for most high end TV's but I paid £229 for this set. Yes it doesn't come with fancy features such as HDR and a thousands hertz but I genuinely am amazed at the bang for buck and think that its one of the bargains of the year!
TL : DR Crap sound, light as a feather but looks good and quality is far better than expected!
I will get pics up later

Quick phone pic I found
