Has anyone been having any problems with the latest version of Fire Fox Browser on the Mac?

I seem to have to quit the application every so often and pages loads up incorrectly even if I keep clicking refresh but a quite and restarts solves the problem. Never had to do that with the last version..

latest version of Firefox is solid as a rock for me- Firefox 2.0.0 was flakier than a psoriasis victim though...

Do you have many extensions/ plugins? It could be these crashing rather than Firefox itself. Also if Firefox has updated recently these may also need an update run on them.

no problems here! only thing that norks up on my mac is VLC player, so annoying!

Yup me too. It's definitely not as stable as the Windows version. Saying that, the type of files I try to get it to play, it's no suprise it has a fit. Also, maybe it knows they're copyrighted? :p

I have removed it and downloaded it again and installed and let see how that goes. As I did have extension on it so I have installed it again with no extension and wish me luck as i prefer Fire Fox than safaris too

If it's speed your after I think Omniweb is the fastest for OS X. Safari is faster than Firefox as well though. I realise Firefox has all the extensions compared with Safari mind.

mine does a wierd thing with ft.com - which has some kind of auto refresh thing - essentially it will just freeze for a while and then work perfectly.. wierd.

Not had any problems with FireFox on OSX, stable as a rock since the day it was installed.

OT: What are the problems you guys have with VLC? I use it as my primary video software, and I've never had any trouble with it.
