Firefall Beta

Anyone started playing the Firefall beta?

Got my invite this morning and had a couple of hours on it today, impressive frame rates, gameplay, effects etc .

Looking forward to getting deeper in this week.

Just been playing it, got to lvl 3 dreadnought (I think). Seemed like there were quests earlier but since I've done the collect a load of minerals using thumpers quest in a group I've no idea how to progress further.

Quite fun, will sink more time into later to give PvP a go especially.

It was a specific about the beta, I have posted in that thread before, many months ago.

I got told to register my interest (as I had signed up ages ago) but heard nothing since then.

Yeah it has some similarities with Tribes, but with some very neat additions to make it have an MMO type feel.

It plays like an FPS but with either an FPS or TPS over the shoulder view.

I would suggest playing as a female, the target area is a lot smaller

the last 3-4 pages in the firefall thread are all about the beta there is no need for a new one
