Just started to watch it and all I can say is "its better than I expected on so many levels" any scifi fan who hasn't seen it get it, its yours for 18 quid, no excuse.

I got the R1 release about 2/3 years back, it's excellent, got cut short thou.

Nope, not that i've heard of. THere are plans for another Movie though.

Not while Joss Wheedon's working on WonderWoman.
Morena Baccarin for the lead? I hope so.

The box office wasn't massive for Serenity but the DVD sales were good. Another film is a possibility but another series of Firefly is a forlorn hope I think

I read in Empire that Serenity was part of a trilogy and based on the sucess of Serenity, the other two will probably be made.

Much like the OP I wasn't expecting much, but I saw the series for £12.99 at an online store and thought, may as well give it a go. I wasn't disappointed. Great show. Got the movie as well and it's just fantastic

My housemate got me onto Firefly and I got totally hooked, make sure you finish the series, and if you have not seen Serenity, watch it (after you've finished the series), it's worth it if you love the series.

Awesome series.

really Well written, and the humour is great in it. Joss Whedon did an excellent job on this, and it was such a shame to see it get cancelled.

Saw serenity first unfort, explains a few things which I think spoils the series, ph well I will still watch it.
