Firefox 1.0

Is there any way possible to down grade back to 1.0 after upgrading to 2.0? The reason is because of the tab setup on 2.0 being really inconvenient.

I imagine you could uninstall it and install one of the releases of Firefox from here.

try tabmix plus? it has far too many options but you should be able to set the behaviour exactly how you like it....

Thank you. I've been looking for a download of 1.5 for ages, but really couldn't seem to find one.

Seems a bit silly to go back to an old version. You'd be opening yourself up to more bugs and security exploits, surely?

you can make FF open a new window each time instead of tabs if thats the case.

Not really, though once 1.5 stops being supported mid-May(ish) (MozillaZine article here) there might be an issue.

As far as the filehippo and mozilla.org FTP links, I'd take the latter - Filehippo have a habit of packaging RCs and nightlies as final release versions...

Uninstall FireFox 2.0 and isntall FireFox 1.0, easy enough.

While I remember, be warned that it probably will chew your profile - back it up if you don't want to lose your bookmarks.
