Same. FF never auto-updates for me. It tries to then downloads the full install.

One of my rigs auto-updated, the other didn't LOL 3 beta 5 is out later today (27 March 08) apparently, I'll be grabbing that too if it's true.

Anyone that the update failed for, is there anything in the update log file? (Fx binary folder/update etc)

Talk about mis-reported then! The original source for the so-called 27 March release date was here.

The final release date's accurate enough, but I wouldn't trust what any third party says - there's no shortage of sites pushing release candidates as final releases...
