Is the brushed effect a part of it? it looks like your extension loads tabs in a new floating window whereas tab catalog loads it in the active window and fades the BG

I guess in the end it all comes down to personal preference.

That said though, this is the best looking brushed metal one I've seen to date, but if it's not to your taste then it's not to your taste.

Since updating the images part of the default homepage wont load. I use the default homepage and usually I can do a google image search by clicking on "image" but this wont load now.
