Firefox 2.0.0.4 out

Release notes please, couldn't find them on the Mozilla site, which still lists 2.0.0.4 as RC3. :(

Wish people would update their site before giving stuff to mirrors.

Once again, filehippo jumps the gun.

Filehippo isn't an official mirror, and 2.0.0.4 isn't officially released. When it is, there'll be release notes.
There's no other way you can do it without either requiring testers to roll their own builds or blocking access to the Mozilla FTP.

Edit: Now it is released, and there are release notes - here.
The automatic update should kick in within the next 24 hours, and in theory 1.5 users should be offered an update too.
List of fixed bugs here too. These two ought to be of interest:
#99236 [Core:RDF]-localstore.rdf should be deleted when it is corrupt [All]
#247116 [Firefox:Toolbars]-Web pages bounce/shake/jump when "Bookmarks Toolbar Items" is empty and placed to right of menu bar [All]

I saw Filehippo's posting of FF 2.0.0.4 and I decided to wait until Mozilla.com had it before I downloaded off there. It was thinking of your previous comments that made me do that. :)

Just ran the 'Checl for Updates' in Firefox and all is good. Seems that 2.0.0.2, 2.0.0.3 and 2.0.0.4 all came within a few days of each other.

They may have fixed this instance, but they havn't fixed the wider issue of the bouncing when the bookmarks is next to the menu bar, and the page is sized to less than the width of the menu bar. Maybe that'll be in 2.0.0.5 :)

They didn't:
2.0.0.4 - 30th May
2.0.0.3 - 20th March
2.0.0.2 - 23rd February
2.0.0.1 - 19th December

Update was broken in Vista IIRC, though it should still have found the update.

Unless someone points that out, unlikely. Though it doesn't do that for me (in 2.0.0.3) - got a screenshot of how you got it to bounce?

I've got bookmarks on the right of my menu - and this windows bounces. I filed it as a bug a while back, think it got marked as a duplicate.

Like this?
bounce2.0.0.4

because it doesn't bounce when I resize it down.

Hmmmm.... Intereshting......

I'll delete my profile, and see what happens :)

*Edit*

Turns out it's a bug with the ifox theme. I've switched back to the default theme now, think I prefer it anyway... :)
