Firefox 2.0.0.9 Up

It's a fix for the bugs in 2.0.0.8. That's why it's out so soon after 2.0.0.8.

You don't have to install it, or restart when it asks you - if you click later and close your brower, the update will be installed when you next start it. It's not as if it bugs you constantly like Windows Update, or will restart off it's own back.

It seems that there's the same problems as there were with 2.0.0.7 (which was also a fire drill release) though, i.e. firewalls going loopy and blocking Firefox...

The fact that firefox is so widely used now makes it a bigger target.....as much as IE infact

All these updates are a result of the security constantly getting found out, because it more viable to hack it, Firefox was supposedly impregnable during its early days, oh how times have changed

Try opera although it will be next on the hit list :(

"Restart Firefox now, or later"

Shocking behaviour.

When you restart Firefox, it loads of up all of your windows and tabs exactly as you had them, so it's hardly 'shocking behaviour'.
