Just auto updated.

Might use it as an FTP Client now the bug's been fixed

Got one page open and its sat in at 58Meg :eek:

Not happy about the idea of it auto-updating, especially as I specified in preferences that it should not be allowed to search for updates.

The "bounce" thing is happening again with this release. Just browsing this forum now and it feels like The Invisible Man is scrolling my mouse wheel up and down randomly.

Happening on both Vista and XP with completely different mice.

That's caused by your Bookmarks Toolbar Folder being empty. Try putting a bookmark in there and it will sort it

Does anyone else experience Firefox crashing now since 2.0.0.2? It seems to "lock" the keyboard and only scroll with the mouse. Happens both on my home and work machine. Tried the browser with and without extensions and it still happens. Got Spybot S&D and Nod32 anti-virus running so I don't think it's a virus or spyware.

Thanks - but my bookmarks toolbar folder is always full.

I reinstalled and it seems to have stopped for now. Cheers anyway.

Could also be caused by an issue with the skin you're using if you use a non-standard one?

Also, I use the third party builds from here :

They're a lot faster when used in conjunction with the correct DLL from that same page.

I seem to have found the fix for my problem with Firefox sometimes crashing. It appears to have been Caret browsing.

I'm using the latest nightly build now from MozillaZine and although a couple of extensions/themes don't work for it yet it appears to be very stable.

Edit: Oops still crashes. Oh well back to IE7 for me, better the devil you know?

yep downloaded and using it now, one obvious fix is the pop up windows now opens a tab rather than a new window, which is NICE. also all the new themes can be applied
