Firefox 2.0 just keeps crashing

I've just reformatted and installed firefox 2.0. I'm not pleased at all.

Prior this, I was running 1.5.07 iirc and that was pretty much flawless. Anyone having similar problems?
 
What type of errors do you get? I was under the impression my RAM was failing on me as Firefox 2.0's been crashing ever since i upgraded. :(

No error, it just dissapears then asks me if I want to resume what I was viewing when I start it :confused:
 
its just unstable, i ve got on 3 pc and its just crap! its s shame... and its really anyoying bothering you with oads of questions too... like th restore option±!
 
Usual story, try a new profile and/or safe mode. If it's an upgrade from 1.5.0.7, it's possible there are some extensions (or other bits of your profile) causing problems.
If there's still an issue, you can always go back to 1.5.0.8.

You mean when it crashes, it offers to restore your browser back to where it was?
Hardly bothering you with "[l]oads of questions", and you can disable it too...
 
did you use safe mode with Admin log-in? that usual work fine, first when you download Fx 2.0.0.1 and then reboot and then press F8 then set Safe Mode with networking then log-in as Admin then install Fx 2 and then when you done - reboot and wait for normal boot up then you wont get any problems -- mine still up and running all hours.
