Firefox 3/4 setting

When you click the '+' button to open a new tab is there a setting to make it automaticaly goto google instead of being a blank screen?

thanks for the. just found another solution which if you hold ctrl and click homepage it opens a new tab with your homepage already loaded.

i would have thought you'd be able to configure it automaticaly in the about:config settings instead of having to install an add-on?
