Firefox 3.6.7 is out

Mine is already 3.6.7 and I don't recall any updates for probably a week or so now.

Cool. Firefox 4 beta 2 is set for July 22 release and although they seem to delay every release, I don't think there are that many changes into this second beta.

Impressive. Or bad memory? :)

Well I can tell you this, my FF has not updated for about a week regardless of when 367 came out - it's pretty obvious and memorable when it does update lol.

I've noticed that, my FF doesnt seem to update automatically as much as it used to.
However just went to click on update and it wont let me as its already downloading it :)

I've started using Chrome recently, having been a religious user of FF for some years. Chrome is far faster, but is missing some of the features I like (Ad Blocking etc.). I am not sure quite why, but FF has started to feel slow and 'clunky' recently.

Yeah i know what you mean, it does seem to be slow and hogs a lot of memory when its open.

I've tried Chrome but there was just something about it that stopped me using it all the time. I think like you say its to do with some of the features not being there

I've never used an Adblocker, what exactly do they block?

Ads lol :p

More importantly, ads that break the layout of websites and some forums. I don't think there's any moral issue with adblocking like some do in the sense that I never click on ads to begin with so disturbing my eyes with ugly adverts and ruining my view of the web by plastering ads over my favourite sites is a waste of time!

lol

So do they block the new windows that pop up advertising poker forums etc or the small flash/java adverts for games/movies on webpages that pop up and take ages before they let you close them? I hate those!!

Thanks for the heads up, I just installed this update. For the Chrome users... I used Chrome for a while but this was pre-adblock days and I didn't stick with it for that reason alone. However, I did try it (Chromium) under Linux and although it was hella fast even with the adblock extension it didn't give sites the correct layout due to not having element hiding (i.e. it would delete the ads but leave the spaces).

Has this improved any? I love Firefox but I'm always happy to grab a bit more speed provided everything else works. :D

Yes it has been released that 3 days after 3.6.7 was released - Ive updated to 3.6.8 that just one fix the problem... very short between 3.6.7 to 3.6.8
