I've got a bit of a weird issue with Firefox. I did have the browser.ctrlTab.previews set to enabled to check out the new feature, and I don't like it. So, I've tried to disable it in the about:config again. But when I restart Firefox, its enabled again! Ctrl+tab still goes through the tabs forwards as you would expect, but ctrl+shift+tab doesn't scroll backwards through them as I'd prefer it to, it brings up the new preview thing. And while its nice, it takes far longer to get to the tab I want to switch to.

However, I can change options like browser.taskbar.previews.enable for the new aero peek thing, and that setting is remembered when I restart Firefox. Its just the ctrltab preview option.

Any ideas?

Tried safe mode and/or a new profile? If all your prefs were reverting I'd have suggested something was locking pref.js but it wouldn't do it for a single value.
