FireFox 3 - Anyone else find it some what unstable?

I use it on a number of XP machines and it seems to crash a lot.

Last night for example I was using it to LogMeIn to my brothers machine. If I tried using another FF windows/tab to do anything else (eg: google) it would almost certainly crash all FF sessions out...

Other times while just browsing it just dies as well...

Doesn't seem as stable as FF2?

When it crashes, do you get the crash reporter? A link to the report would be useful.

I'm talking about installations on 3 different machines... I've experiences crashes in FF3 with all of them to different degrees...

Safe mode's still a useful diagnostic if it's 1 machine or 30...

One's an upgrade and the other two were fresh FF3 installs... Generally it's intermittent/random and infrequent enough such that it doesn't bother me...

But last night while using LogMeIn I could reproduce the crash basically at will...

I suspect it's caused by pages with Shockwave/Java and other such fun. If I generally visited 'normal' pages I suspect I'd have a smoother ride...

Mine is no way that bad, but it does seem worse than FF2... Let me know if it helps...

There are utilities to export/import your settings (ie: bookmarks etc)...

I found FF3 unstable, but updated to 3.0.1 and it's been fine ever since. Still on 2.0.0.4 at work!

I always accept updates for Java and FF...

Computing practices aside; as tolien says - lets have a butchers at some crash reports.

Why? The latest version would include bug fixes etc... Maybe a new version of FF will fix my stability issues!

I turned of AVG8s Link Scanner function, and it's not crashed since!!
