Firefox 3 not saving cookies

I've just put FF3 on my home pc after having a good experience with it on my work laptop, but it will not remember cookies.

I've checked and double checked the settings, they all seem fine.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Home PC is Vista 64 Ultimate

New install with an empty profile? In other words, did you have a version of Firefox installed before?

Yeah I had 2.017(I think) installed before

Try a new profile then.
