Firefox 4 Beta 1...

Speed of page loading is quite good, but I don't like the tabs at the very top or the fact that they are transparent - this makes it difficult to read what each tab is when the detail of the desktop or window behind shows through.

Agree with Stu re table titles are difficult to read when they are transparent.

Also, apparently this has native x64 support, but Task manager reports it's 32-bit ??

looks like this is going to be the first new FF that really breaks a lot of add-ons for me, usually just bypass with 'nightly tester tools' which got them all (mostly) working again but not even that works.

Mozilla have a Add-on Compatibility Reporter which works like NTT but lots of add-ons still broken.

Fx 4.0 will be 64bits when it reach final release - not in beta version at the moment as it still using 32bits so final release will be 32 and 64bits to choose to download so hope the date stay in November that what Mozilla set at.

Thanks for the info. Minefield is in 64-bit at the moment though, isn't it ?

Not a fan at all of this new beta, I will take a more detailed look later but very few of my extensions or themes work and it looks very ugly on my XP work machine.

Looks just like the twentyten theme :)

No it doesn't?

Wheyy! option for no tabs on top. Bookmarks toolbar looks ugly though...

Whole theme is ugly as hell if you want a standard layout like FF3. Disapointing.
