Firefox 77, disable the addressbar popout?

OMG companies spend so much time/$$ researching crap like this, they could atleast give us a option that is easy to get to that turns it off. Found this

OMG, finally browser.urlbar.disableExtendForTests create that bookleen or whatever it is called. Crap, Firefox you suck, this option to disable the megabar should be in GENERAL OPTIONS.

Yeah as of v77 only userchrome can 'fix' the appearance...

Unfortunately Mozilla is seemingly going down the 'we know best route' of design, even after they've been told by users that they don't like it....it's not like they need to keep their current users or anything....

I moved to water fox last week for this very reason, its much better

I hated the pop out address bar at first, but now I've learnt to live with it, it's kind of grown on me.
