Firefox and Quicktime issue

Since downloading the latest Firefox, I can't play embedded quicktime videos. I get the purple fuzzy screen (pictured below) followed by the windows close error. I'm presuming this is an issue with the latest version of firefox?

uninstall quicktime

install quicktime alternative

Theres an issue with direct x acceleration - just disable all the references in the options and it should be fine (thats what I did)

you have got the most recent qt (may need to download separately to itunes)

If it doesn't work with 2.0.0.7, it's unlikely to have been related to the 2.0.0.8 upgrade - though it may very well be worth trying safe mode and/or a new profile. Does it work in IE?

Just tried it in IE - crashes again but with a different error message about the plugin. Therefore I'm thinking it's Quicktime related and will roll back to an earlier version.

Quicktime alternative is NO MORE.

QTLITE is what you want.

QTALT did not fix my firefox + qt issue either but QTLITE did.

I installed version 1.1.1.
