Firefox and saving pictures.

Ok I have one problem. I don't know is there some config for firefox because i'm tired of saving pictures on my hdd.

I tought that my AV is the problem. Then I disabled AV, and the problem still persists. When I open image (click on it), it has been (cached) saved in RAM, right?. Then I want to have that image on my hdd. And firefox download that image again... Does anybody have a solution for this but not with add-ons or some scripts. Is there any configuration in firefox that could be modified? If not, I would consider switching back to Opera.

I completely do not understand your problem or question.

Are you saying you want Firefox to not save pics on the HDD cache or that you want to save them manually?

It makes no sense.

The default cache is 50MB and it is saved to HDD not RAM.

the problem is like this.

Sometimes even don't save my picture and error occurs.

It is kind of peculiar. Looking to the top of the forum at the old OcUK logo (http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/gfx/vBulletin_logo7.gif), I would expect to be able to find this GIF on my hard drive right now. But a search comes up with nothing.
