Firefox and the QT plugin

Hi,

Basically the QT plugin never shows a control bar on embedded mp3s so I can't pause them or restart them. Is there any way to fix this, or even better some other plugin to play mp3 files? I tried enabling the vlc plugin but that made no difference.

Are you using Vista..? I read that this problem was a problem with the plugin and Vista.

Looks like Quicktime doesn't support Windows x64

Thanks, that is really crap though! Is there another plugin I can use to play mp3 files?

VLC or FFDshow would be fine.

I have both of them but neither seem to take over from quicktime
