Firefox and Thunderbird just had a fit, and I've lost all my emails! Is there any way to retrieve them? I guess they must still be sitting on my HD somewhere.

Have a look in your profile folder, all the data should still be there. http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/profile
You might want to make occasional backups of your profiles for future problems, http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/

Thanks, but it seems those files somehow got currupted.

How did you find this out? If they are corrupted then bad luck, better luck next time. Make weekly or fortnightly backups of your profiles with Mozbackup and hopefully you won't have this same problem again.Skunkworks said:Thanks, but it seems those files somehow got currupted.
