Firefox - Anyway to save all username/passwords for websites to a file?

Just in the process of sorting things out and getting ready for Win7 so would like to have a file with all usernames/passwords for webpages firefox has saved for me.

Possible?

Yes. Backup the firefox profile folder, where this is located will depend on your OS. Google it and there are loads of guides for this.

and then is it just a simple case of putting that back in the same folder after format and win7 install?

Yes, you can copy your profile between machines and, indeed, between OSs.

Check out xmarks I use it on loads of pc's/os' (ie. osx) and over mulitples installs and it just dumps all my bookmarks and passwords straight in.
