I think generally websites come with their own which are mopped up by browsers when I bookmark e.g. these forums. If the website you wish to mark hasn't one, then I don't think you can afaik
Failing that, you could do it the way I've done it since I first used Ff when it was called Firebird. Find a website whose favicon you want to use and bookmark it. Click on that bookmark to load the favicon. Right click on the bookmark and select properties. Paste in the URL for the site for which you want that favicon to link. Hit OK and you're done.
If you mean the images used for the folders in the bookmark toolbar (rather than individual bookmarks via favicons) then I could not find a way to do it when I looked. It would be nice to do.
