firefox - clear private data?

The newer versions of firefox dont seem to have the option to "clear private data" that the older versions had. :confused: :confused:

Why on earth would they remove such an important function? Or have they simply moved it to a less convenient place?
 
You could also look at the BetterPrivacy plugin for FF, clears cookies when you kill the browser (think it does Flash cookies as well which is nice
 
Thats just to clear the history.

The old option cleared cookies/cache/history etc.

seek mate, that option, and the other one I said above gives the option to delete cookies/history the lot..

Maybe your Firefox is a bit broken..?
 
It's just been renamed "Clear Recent History", and the ability's been added to clear the history from a particular time period. You can still clear the whole history if you want to. Pretty obvious really - it's in the exact same place as the old option!
