Ok, ill give some back info, running ubuntu 8.10, with restricted extras.
Ok now the problem, every time i go on flash heavy websites my pc either crawls to a halt or just crashes does not happen on any other websites. anyone had similar issues and how do i fix it?

Sounds like a bug in Flash. Have you tried it with any different browsers?

I know for me in the past when running Flash in a wrapper to work with 64-bit Firefox, prior to the introduction of the native 64-bit Flash plugin, the wrapper used would consume all of my CPU power or crash the browser. Rather messy, that.

Maybe it's a graphics driver issue. Are you running the proprietary nVidia or ATi drivers?

Is it possible to work around it and view a non-Flash version of the site? Is the site broken if you block Flash content with a plugin like NoScript or FlashBlock?

restricted nividia driver, the one that pop up to install when you start it up.
the websites are displaying tv programs with flash so it s kinda neciary wil check for a different brower.

I usually go for installing proprietary GPU drivers using the "Envy" package. It does such a damn fine job of it!! The proprietary driver binaries in the Ubuntu repositories can be a bit out-dated...

On my (64-bit) Ubuntu installs I have found that installing the Adobe flash plugin and the Gnash Mozillia plugin works the best for me - for some weird reason!! Both from the repositories (set to multiverse).
