Firefox default browser?

I recently changed from IE to firefox and when I click on a link or something it will open in firefox. However when I click on the Email button on MSN messenger the Internet Explorer will load up with the hotmail page on. How do I change this so it opens with firefox?

Pretty sure it can't be done.
You could use trillian or something instead...

I dont think you can as its microsoft and they would want you to use microsoft products.

cant you set IE to having no access in the set program access and defaults thing?

Older versions of Stuffplug gave you the option to direct to your default browser, and a few other nice things.

I haven't used it in in a while; moved on to Trillian myself. Didn't like having a client you had to mod the living daylights out of just to remove half the junk.

MSN Messenger is coded to open in IE (e.g. when you click the button it will run the command 'iexplore http://hotmail.com')
the only way to do it is to install another messenger (GAIM is good - and supports msn accounts) or to use a tool like ResHacker to edit the actual MSNMSGR.exe :cool:
