For some reason Firefox has decided not to let me on to Facebook or gmail saying that they are untrusted. I told it view Facebook anyway but it just loads up all garbled an unviewable.

Is there likely to be a reason for this or is a reinstall necessary?

Isn't happening to me - are you sure you aren't being redirected to a fake site?

Using the same bookmarks i always have.

[Edit] This is weird, i'm getting the same thing with Chrome as well.

Had my gmail log me in on Firefox but once I clocked on a mail It was just blank, changed to chrome and all OK now.

Never had any probs with facebook and firefox.

Check PC for spyware / hijackers. Check your local HOSTS file on the machine. Make sure you are not being re-directed to a dodgey site or hijacked using proxies or a DNS attack.

As above, if you are using the same bookmarks as before and they are definitely correct then check your hosts file, check your browser proxy settings and check your DNS settings to make sure they are all as you would expect.

You may also want to post what ip-address your system is seeing gmail and facebook on to see if it agrees with others here.
