For those worried about the new and improved, whiter than white firefox release schedule...

This is for enterprises, I can't see how the RRS can affect normal users at all except maybe those people who dislike change who go around faffing for no reason.

It is...but of course it will affect normal users as they have the option of the ESR release, and mozilla will have to maintain 2 releases...

ESR version is released once a year so not really a major hurdle for them

Aye it is but it would have happened regardless because FF is now a massive platform with a very large user base even within business so providing a version for that market was inevitable.

MS already have the options via Windows Update and other various rollout packages available to systems admins for the enterprise environment so that's not a problem.
