Hi peeps.

Everytime I go to www.guru3d.com I get the following pop up box. I have to click the "x" 3 times to get rid of it. The site works fine, but it's starting to bug me now.

Error.jpg

It looks like it's for 'pricegrabber' and I do use the HOST file which blocks stuff like this, yet no other site has a problem. And why is it asking me to open/save the php script?

Any ideas? Thanks all!! ;)

what extensions do you have installed?

have you tried in safe mode?

From the Firefox program directory:

firefox --safe-mode (I think - it's been a while - firefox /?... or maybe firefox --help - will tell you for definite) and disable all extensions.

Unfortunately, most of the problems with ff are due to extensions... and extensions are the reason why everyone likes ff...

If that doesn't work, try a new ff profile:

firefox --profilemanager (again, not sure of the syntax here...)

Cheers, this is what I have in FF.

ADD-ONS = Dom Inspector 1.8.1.3 + Overclockers Forum Menu 1.4.0

THEMES = Azerty III 3.1.1

That's it. :)

I've tried the safe-mode version, it still occured. It wouldn't have anything to do with the fact I have no PHP software installed. Actually no it shouldn't should it. The browser should handle all that. It's only that one website.

Cheers.

Have you tried the site in another browser? If you open it, do you just get a blank file? TBH it's probably the websites server-side software that's gone funky rather than your browser.

Thanks for the reply.

Just tried it in IE7 and it's fine.

I think =walls= might be right, may need to create a new FF profile.

Thanks guys!
