Is there a way to disable the sliding animations, so things just snap into place instead of scrolling

Examples.

When you have say 25 tabs, and you scroll wheel on the tab list
Pressing F11 for full screen, it looks jerky

Hmm, I can only find something for F11. In about:config setting browser.fullscreen.animateUp to 0 disabled the animation. It just goes straight to full screen without displaying the address bar briefly first.

Not sure about the tabs one, sorry.

Set toolkit.scrollbox.smoothScroll to false.
