i want to Get rid of the File/Edit/View/Histroy/Bookmark/Tools/Help Menu Is there any way of doing this? or a plugin to hide it?

There's an extension unsurprisingly called Hide Menubar that'll do just that.

I use the Tiny Menu extension myself. It shrinks the whole thing down to one menu that's called Menu with submenus for file, edit, view, etc. I then put the nav buttons, URL bar, and search bar next to it and remove the classic, and now empty, navigation toolbar. Yay for gaining an extra 25 pixels or so.

Why do you want to get rid of it? Just to save space, or are you trying to setup a kiosk or something? There might be better ways to do it. :)

Sorry to hijack the thread but I just started using Hide Menubar and I want to hide my status bar as well. Before I do, is there a way of moving an icon from the status bar to the navigation bar instead?

In this case, the icon for the Screengrab plugin.

You can probably change where the button is in settings somewhere. There is an autohide status bar addon, but I don't like that because shows whenever you click a link. So I use a button package which has a button to allow you to just turn it off, then I just delete the button again.
