Firefox https question

Hey guys,

Currently at college and im trying to log into a variety of website's which forward you to a secure conenction after logging in, https.
Thing is it blocks be the second a https connection is made.

Its just a firefox issue as it work in IE and chrome.

What settings should i be looking at?

When I do it I just make sure that I put a https:// infront of everything, so if you wanted to visit someones profile go onto https://www.facebook.com/thisisntarealaccount.

Wasn't one of the things ff4 was pushing was some way to set https by default, as opposed to http?
