Firefox is acting odd.

Up a few days ago, I wasnt aware that firefox was trying to be a word processor. apparently, on my PC thats exactly whats happening.

For some reason, I can actually "click" the I pointer in carious parts of the web page! yes, that means it stays there like in Word, only difference is that I can not type in the page.

If I click, in front of say an image, a larger I coursor will appear (the height of the image).

Is this an option I turned on by accident? or will I have to reinstall the entire FF?
 
Go to Options, then the Advanced tab, then make sure the "Allow text to be selected with the keyboard" option is unticked.

Just tried ticking that on mine, and it exhibited the same behaviour you described, so I'm guessing that's it. :)

Mate you are a star! I dont have a clue how the heck that option got enabled :/ thanks a lot :)
