Firefox Issue & Youtube

Hi there, I am having a really odd problem with Firefox 3.0.4. When I am viewing youtube, invariably when I close the tab firefox locks up and crashes, it does it 1 in 3 times I'm viewing youtube in a separate tab.

Now I am overclocking but nothing else I do on the machine has any problems, I can run Prime 95 for days with no problem, games are fine and normal browsing on firefox is perfect, as are other videos on other sites.

Now I was thinking it could potentially be my AV program, KIS 2009, but what would be happening behind the scenes that causes my AV program to hang firefox when closing a tab. I also thought it might be a codec problem, but why does it only affect youtube?

I'm really struggling to come up with an answer to the issue.

Cheers

Usual drill, try Firefox's safe mode or a new profile, and make sure you have the latest version of Flash.
If Firefox crashes, do you get the crash reporter?

It does bring up the crah reporter, I'll try installing flash again.

Not having any problems afaik in safe mode. Odd

Been doing this with me too recently.

Firefox locks up and/or crashes if I click Back before a video has finished. Firefox jumps to about 50% CPU usage during the freeze.

I am having crashes too lately with youtube and firefox, i am using vista 64, never really had any crashed before but lately quite few and it seems only with youtube and might have few more with some flash content. Good to have IE installed by defoult :)
