Firefox Just reset itself?

After a game of pro evo I opened up firefox to be bombarded by loads of extension update requests and found my tab mix plus options have all been forgotten as well as my homepage.

This has happened before. Does anyone know what is going on?

i managed to accidentally create a new user profile on my firefox once. It reset the homepage and wiped the bookmarks. Wouldnt let me back onto the old profile either. (but this shouldnt reset extentions - so maybe you have something different)

Yeah, all my bookmarks are still there though. The last time it happened it deleted my bookmarks also.

The text on ebay has also suddenly become smaller.

This really is annoying. For some reason I thought it could be a hardware problem but I doubt it now and I have to keep changing my NoScript settings as well as everything else.

I think I've found the problem.

It's a corrupt file Corrupt localstore.rdf to be exact and it's located in your profile folder. Delete it and eveything should be fine.
