Firefox - loading profile from another hdd

Hey guys,

i have firefox installed on my new c: drive, however i want to be able to view my old firefox from my old d: drive, which has all my settings etc.

When i try and load my old firefox profile by using the shortcut on my d: drive, it just seems to load the fresh install on my new c: drive.

Anyway i can load my old one instead?

If you browse to C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox and open the profiles.ini file and change IsRelative= to 0 and then change the Path= to your old profiles location it should load from your old profile.

You'll need to have hidden files showing to fine the AppData folder though.
