FireFox + Netgear DG834GT router!?

Im having a little problem with getting FireFox to remember my router username and password. I always have to close the tab, and it will remember it for so long, if I click "Log Out" if forgets it straight away.

Does anyone know why FireFox does this, and how to get the username and password to stick? Opera and IE have no problems remembering.

Just wanted to add it saves passwords for everything else just fine, just not my router :/

i got that setup

i just have a link with 192.168.0.1 and click each time i need access, the password is saved and all i need do is click ok each time.

from time to time it forgets and i have to renter it and from time to time it reboots the router and lose all the settings which is annoying especially as the backup feature doesnt work for me in any browser :/

Hmm I have the same as Tommy and the OP I guess but mine always remembers the pass now untill I reboot the router. I've just checked my bookmark for it and the user/pass is displayed, and I've not gone into my router's setup for ages now. I'm using 1.5.0.1 which I assume you both are on too.
