Firefox not connecting to any website

As of yesterday Firefox does not connect to any website. Just endless load. Not even an error.

Edge does. Not sure if it was immediately after N update.

Any ideas?

your network did you change from public to private or vice versa after the update?
check your firewall settings.

on one of the last 2 windows updates it gave me a pop up about whether my network should be public or private and I clicked private but must have had it set to public before.

so all my firewall roles were wrong

Disable adblocker and it will work, seems the latest update has caused some issue between adblocker & FF where I presume AB just blocks everything from loading

Had the same issue with Chrome, mine was Adblock Plus causing the problem. I uninstalled it and then installed a different version and it all works normally again.
