firefox/opendns/google search problem

i'm using the OpenDNS dns servers and i've noticed when i do a search with firefox's search bar using google, it'll go to a special search google page which isnt the normal one --biggest noticeable difference is that there is no bit to search "all of web" or "uk only."

whilst OpenDNS entries are in, i can use IE7's built in search using google and it'll go to a localised google page as it should, however by setting the dns servers back to virgin bb defaults (which i'd rather not use if possible), firefox's search works as its meant to.

how'd i fix this so i can use OpenDNS servers and not get firefox's localised google search?

Edit hosts file may work but I wouldn't know were to begin find the IP address of the Internet Explorer search page and type it in your hosts file then type...address of Firefox's search page might look something like this

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx{Tab}{Tab}http://www.mozilla.google.com/
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx{Tab}{Tab}www.mozilla.google.com

DNSStuff could help you find the IP addresses

I doubt this well work but worth a try good luck
